Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using GleamShift ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, do not use the Platform.
GleamShift is a marketplace platform that connects vacation rental property hosts ("Hosts") with professional cleaning service providers ("Cleaners") in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
2. Description of Service
GleamShift provides a technology platform that:
- Enables Hosts to find and book professional cleaning services for their vacation rental properties
- Enables Cleaners to receive and manage cleaning job requests
- Facilitates communication between Hosts and Cleaners
- Provides tools for calendar synchronization, job tracking, and quality verification
GleamShift is not a cleaning service provider. We do not employ Cleaners, nor do we provide cleaning services directly.
3. User Accounts
To use certain features of the Platform, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information during registration
- Keep your account credentials secure and confidential
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account
4. Fees and Payments
GleamShift charges a 20% service fee on top of the Cleaner's price for each scheduled cleaning. This fee is charged to the Host at the time of scheduling.
The Host is responsible for paying the Cleaner's full service price directly to the Cleaner upon job completion. GleamShift facilitates this process but does not handle the direct payment between Host and Cleaner.
Subscription plans may have additional fees as described on our pricing page. All fees are quoted in the applicable currency and are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
5. Host Responsibilities
As a Host, you agree to:
- Provide accurate property information and access instructions
- Create reasonable cleaning checklists and expectations
- Pay the service fee and Cleaner's price in a timely manner
- Communicate respectfully with Cleaners through the Platform
- Report any issues or concerns through the proper channels
6. Cleaner Responsibilities
As a Cleaner, you agree to:
- Provide accurate business information and service area details
- Arrive on time and complete jobs according to the Host's checklist
- Upload required verification photos as specified
- Report any property issues immediately through the Platform
- Maintain professional standards of service
7. Cancellation Policy
Hosts may cancel a scheduled cleaning subject to the following conditions:
- Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled time incur no penalty
- Late cancellations may be subject to a cancellation fee
Cleaners who cancel accepted jobs may face rating penalties and, in cases of repeated cancellations, account restrictions.
8. Limitation of Liability
GleamShift provides the Platform on an "as is" basis. We are not liable for:
- The quality or outcome of cleaning services provided by Cleaners
- Damage to property during a cleaning job
- Disputes between Hosts and Cleaners regarding payment or service quality
- Loss of data or service interruptions
We encourage both parties to communicate openly and resolve disputes directly. GleamShift may assist in mediation at our discretion.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, and technology on the Platform are the property of GleamShift. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without prior written consent.
10. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or consistently receive poor ratings. You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
